The Ministry has prepared these documents as a way to help support families and parents in understanding key math learning across grades 1-3.

Attendance Procedures

The attendance line is available 24/7, you can leave a message at any time if your child will be late or absent from school.  Please leave the child’s name, teacher’s name, date of and the reason for the absence.

If your child will be absent for five or more consecutive school days, please complete a “temporary withdrawl form” and submit it to the office prior to the absence.

Food and Beverage Programs

**Please note, the Food & Beverage Programs are on pause until further notice**

We offer Tuck Shop Mondays, Pizza Wednesdays and Hot Lunch Fridays.  All proceeds from these programs are used to support student needs at Sandhills.  More information is available from the left menu.

Parenting Resources

KW Counselling

KW Counselling is proud to introduce a new parenting resource parentingnow.ca. The program consists of two streams, one being group discussions in various communities in Waterloo Region and the other is the online chat system.  The chat program has 10 Experienced Parents who were selected based on their varied and vast experience in parenting.  Chat can be completely anonymous and parents are free to chat about literally any parenting question pertaining to any age. There are parents who can chat in different languages and parents who have experience in everything from divorce, ADHD, education challenges, drug use, LGBTQ, allergies, being newcomers to Canada, and more.  It is an easy and free service that can really assist parents in getting through some challenging times.
