Thank you so much for your support of our Winter Concerts, we really enjoyed sharing these presentations with our families and the school community. The Sandhills community is so generous!  There have been many recent fundraising initiatives.  The Global Issues raffle for Natural Disaster Relief raised $1200!  The grade three book sale for Natural Disaster Relief has been very successful and the students are excited to share that $616.40 was raised!  The collection for the Waterloo Region Food Bank has raised $326.20 in cash donations and 16 boxes of non-perishable food already and the collection will continue into next week!  Thank you Suns!  Your generous spirit will make this season brighter for families near and far.

 

  1. Pizza Days – January to March

Welcome to the second round of Pizza Days!!

Deadline for orders will be Thursday December 21, 2017.

Pizza will be available every Wednesday at second nutrition break.

You will be ordering for every Wednesday from Jan 10th to March 28th (Jan 10, Jan 17, Jan 24, Jan 31, Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28, Mar 7, Mar 21, Mar 28)

We will be offering Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza for 11 weeks for a cost of:

$22.00 for 1 slice             $44.00 for 2 slices            $66.00 for 3 slices

Orders are placed on School-Day.  Payment by Credit Card or Debit/Visa is preferred.  If paying by cash, please send in the exact change along with the order number.  Cheques will not be accepted.

 

  1. Parking Lot Attendant Needed

We are looking to hire a parking lot attendant to cover two 30 minute shifts daily – morning and afternoon.  This is a paid position.  The morning shift would be from 8:15 am until 8:45 am.  The afternoon shift would be from 2:45 pm until 3:15 pm.  We will also consider applicants who are only interested in one of the two available shifts. Our Spirit Wear is here!  The items ordered in the fall were sent home with students today.  Stay cozy in your Sandhills gear.

 

  1. French Immersion Registration (for current SK families)

Interested families can register for grade one French Immersion January 10th –  31st, 2018.
