Feb 6 – Walk to School Day and School Council will be here at the school to say Hi to parents and offer them a free cup of coffee.
Feb 7 – Beat the Winter Blahs dance. 6:30-8:30 pm. The cost is $2 a person up to a maximum of $10 for a family.
Feb 15 – Report Cards go home
Feb 18 – Family Day (no school)
Feb 19 – Orders Due for MacMillan’s Classic Fundraiser
Did You Know?
At last, winter has arrived in our region and staff here at Sandhills wanted to ensure that our Parents and Caregivers had all the information necessary regarding Policies and Procedures from the Waterloo District School Board. Please click on the attached link which gives you information and a ‘frequently asked questions’ section on how severe weather affects buses and/or schools in our region.
Please also find the link, below; to Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region which is a good tool to refer to when severe weather is in effect, keeping you up to date on school bus cancellations and/or school closures.

MacMillan’s Classics Fundraiser Reminder
Great news!
If our school sells at least 400 items or more during this Fundraiser our wonderful Parent School Council will award a $50 GIFT CARD to THE TOP 3 sellers for the store of their choice in the KW area.
It’s Superbowl weekend! Let’s see how many orders we can collect from family and friends! Happy Fundraising!!
MacMillan’s Classics is a selection of frozen gourmet cookies and muffins, delectable desserts, entertaining treats and Artisan Soups. They specialize in Fresh and Flash Frozen produce. They also offer a product line of Peanut Free, Sugar Free and Gluten Free.
As always, a percentage of the sales will go to the school.

DELIVERY DATE IS THURSDAY, 28th FEBRUARY. (Time to be confirmed)

Completed order forms can be returned to school with your student. One order form can be used per family but please feel free to start a new order form if you need to continue on another sheet. Extra order forms can be obtained from the main school office.

We are delighted to introduce our new Character Trait for February – RESILIENCE!
