Please ensure that you telephone the attendance line or send us an email to inform us of your child’s absence as soon as possible. School starts at 8.35am. It is good practice to ensure that your student is on time for class. Try to aim for 8:25am to create good habits. School Council
Parents/Guardians are invited to nominate a peer or self-nominate if they are interested in taking on an elected role in School Council. Please take a moment to fill out the appropriate form, (attached and available at the Main Office) and return it to Sandhills Main Office by Wednesday September 26th. After this time, the nominees will be posted. Elections will take place at our next School Council meeting, Wednesday October 10th, at 6:30pm in the Library.
school-day orders
If you have completed an open order on School-day for Pizza or the School Planner please ensure that you send cash in with your child as soon as possible.
Pizza will be available every Wednesday at second nutrition break. Deadline for orders will be September 27, 2018. You will be ordering for every Wednesday from Oct 3rd to Christmas Break. We will be offering Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza for 12 weeks for a cost of: $24.00 for 1 slice, $48.00 for 2 slices, $72.00 for 3 slices. Please note: If your child is absent we will not be offering refunds. Payment by Credit Card or Debit/Visa is preferred. If paying by cash, please send in the exact change along with the order number. Cheques will not be accepted.

Fresh from the Farm, Deadline Mon, 15 Oct 2018
DON’T FORGET!
Students will have received a Student Order Form on the first day of school for Fresh from the Farm. Please send your order form, together with the cash payment, with your student (please note the school does not accept cheques).
Teachers will collect all orders and funds and the school will submit an online total order by Monday, 15 October. Deliveries take place November through to mid-December. On the delivery day, volunteers receive product and package vegetables (Bundle A) into Fresh from the Farm bags. Apples (Bundle B) arrive pre-packaged in a poly bag or box.
