Registration is now open for our before and after school programs for next year.  Please visit www.wrdsb.ca/beforeafter for more information.

Families with children currently in grade 2 who are transitioning to grade 3 next year and will require childcare are encouraged to register online at www.wrdsb.ca/beforeafter by selecting the Youth Development Program, operated by YMCA Cambridge on behalf of the WRDSB.

Families will be notified in May, if the program did not have enough interest and is not viable to operate.

  1. Parking Reminders

The volume of cars dropping students off near schools can cause difficulties for all students who need to move past these cars to get to school. This is a problem in many school communities. In the interest of student safety, our municipal Bylaw officers visit schools sporadically to enforce parking rules. Designated parking areas have been optimized for safe parking; any parking outside the designated areas can be considered to be creating additional hazards for our students. Please park safely and avoid being ticketed!

Did you know?

Walking to school can lead to better academic performance.  Just 20 minutes of walking in the morning can increase mental focus at school for up to four hours!  This can lead to higher test scores, better music practice, or even a better soccer game!
