The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is pleased to invite the community to commemorate Sikh Heritage Month on Wednesday, April 28. Join Vice-Principal Amanpreet Dhaul, and WRDSB students for a reading of Fauja Singh Keeps Going – a 2020 children’s book that tells the story of Sikh centenarian Fauja Singh, who in 2011 became the oldest person believed to have run a marathon.

This event will be hosted through a Google Meet Live Stream, linked below. There are two time slots available for this assembly, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., to ensure everyone who wants to attend has the opportunity. The event is expected to last approximately 40 minutes.
