Dear Parents & Guardians:

We have experienced a case of “Fifth Disease” in the school. As an awareness to parents, we have included information from the Region of Waterloo Public Health about the disease here: Fifth Disease and Pregnancy 2

Students with this childhood disease do not need to be excluded from school. However, our concern is that each of us be aware and try to safeguard any spread of fifth disease to pregnant women. We will continue to monitor this situation.
