The survey captures perceptions from students, parents, and staff relating to issues such as character development, equity and inclusion, safe schools, and variables that contribute to a healthy school environment.

Please take the opportunity to complete the Safe Caring and Inclusive Schools Survey, which can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SCISParent_Guardian.

  1. NEW! The Student Scoop!

Thank you to Lara Pascu for providing this week’s Student Scoop…

I hope that you have your socks on tight because they will pop off when you hear this! SANDHILLS has just reached its biggest achievement yet.  We have raised $10 000 to build a school in KENYA.  Those children are going to be so HAPPY!!!

Say Cheese!! Sibling picture day is coming up.  Do you have a sister or brother that goes to Sandhills Public School?  Well if you do, bring your form on picture day.

Hope you still remember the joke contest!  Don’t worry, there’s still time to sign up because there’s one every week.  I’ve put a sign up on the right-hand side of the library.  Make sure you listen to the announcements.  Well, that’s all I have to say.  Stay tuned for more news!!!

  1. School Safety

Thank you for calling our school attendance line so that we can keep your children safe.  As you know we have a very large school and receiving your calls regarding your children being away from school due to appt./illness or just going to be late helps us be efficient with the Safe Arrival Program. Here is the number for your convenience 519-570-8125 x 3041# Again, thank you.

When you arrive at the school, please be sure to visit the office first.  Volunteers are asked to sign in before making their way to their volunteer assignment.  If you need to pick up your child for an appointment, please come in to the office and ask for your child to be called down.  We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
