December 11, 2015 – Weekly School-Day Update

Hello Parents,

Don’t forget – it’s pajama day on Friday, December 18th.

1. Planning a winter vacation?

If your child will miss more than five days of school, please complete a “Temporary Student Withdrawl” form. Please call the office and a form can be sent home with your child. The form must be completed and returned before your trip. Please call the attendance line 519-570-8125 ext 3041# for any other absence.
2. Vision Screening
The Waterloo Region District School Board and the Lions of District A-15 are happy to offer free vision screening to all kindergarten students. Vision screening will take place at Sandhills on Monday December 14 and Tuesday December 15.
3. Winter Break
Our last day of school before the break is Friday December 18, 2015. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday January 4, 2016
4. Progress Reports

Progress Reports will be coming home with the students on Wednesday December 16.

5. Dress for the Weather

This mild weather has created a soggy playground. Rain boots and splash pants would help keep your students clean. Children are also encouraged to carry a change of clothes in their backpack in case of a fall or spill.
